If you like the hot and spicy Sichuan food at Kiki’s restaurant, you’ll also like “Chuan Sister”, just down the street from Qbar. Apparently one of the chef’s from Kiki’s decided to start up his own place, copying all of the dishes (they all look and taste the same), even the way the menu is printed out. (Just look for the red banner a few doors down to the right of Qbar that reads, “Kiki’s former chef at your service”.) They forgot to take out some of the references to Kiki’s though, like “Kiki’s Special Plum Juice”. The prices are about 20% cheaper. Enjoy Sister Chuan before Kiki boss Lan Hsing-mei dances her way down to the courthouse.
