The Taipei Kid

Went to the new Thai restaurant at the Sheraton last night. They can’t fool me. That “new” Thai restaurant is actually their old “Fusion” restaurant dressed up to look Thai-ish. Did Fusion even last a year? That’s kind of what they did at the Westin–the Irish pub bombed, so they turned it into a Latin bar, then an Italian restaurant. The Latin bar with the still-intact Irish pub decor and furnishings was pretty interesting. Anyway, as for the Thai place, the food was soooooooooo slow coming out, and it wasn’t any better than Thai Heaven or any other place like that.
