Well, adults with autism are not exactly the easiest people to live with. Yeah, sure, you can sometimes get them to prepare your taxes for you or play a Beethoven sonata from memory, but most of the time their talents are simply no use! People think it’s going to be like Tom Cruise in “Rainman” winning big at the blackjack table, but the reality is more along the lines of simply finding out how many toothpicks have fallen on the floor.
