Sometimes I don't mind to say hi, but whats it about? Just because we are both foreigners does that make us part of some exclusive club and we have to acknowledge each other?
Sometimes I feel the hello is intrusive, I am just minding my own business, why are you bothering me? Perhaps even more annoying are the Taiwanese guys (girls never do it) who will say hi to you in public, when they would never do it to a Chinese person. I mean I know they are just trying to be friendly, but they just come off looking stupid, especially when they try to say something to you in broken English. Usually they just walk off embarrassed!
