Oh, no, the shame and horror of Jamaican flags being made in Taiwan. I wonder how Taipei’s only Jamaican restaurant feels about that.
Please, can anyone tell me how Taiwan is able to print our flags in their country? Do they know the meaning of the black, green and gold?

Thank God someone has decided to speak out against the Taiwanese making Jamaican flags! I, too, have been the victim more than once in having bought an ill-advised flag or two and then found that because of key errors caused by the maker not knowing what the colors stand for, I am left with a useless rag.
Having read the original piece, I am also very happy that Jamaica has reached the milestone of 45 years of independence. Yes, as the opinion writer points out in his letter, 45 years is indeed a very long time to go to reach this key milestone. However, in my humble opinion, I do not know how this milestone could have been reached in a shorter time.
